What you can expect
As Optical Engineer you will be part of a team with the task of developing and producing camera and vision systems for the cars of tomorrow, working in projects “from A to Z”. You will be responsible for establishing and optimizing the test processes of fully automated camera production with high volumes.

You will have the opportunity working with test and equipment specifications, programming, design, verification, industrialization, production startup, documentation and continuous improvements with focus on optical measurements in our top modern plant in Vårgårda.

We believe you have working experience from:

- Optics, Optronic, Imaging Systems and/or Optical Measurement Technology

- Basic programming skills in C or C#

- Statistical analysis tools

- Optical Test setups

Education:
University degree in electronics/photonics or equivalent education with broad knowledge in optics

Are you our new System Test Coordinator?

Our purpose-driven and curious teams are creating trust in mobility through human-centric innovation. We are today the largest pure-player in Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS). We design and manufacture products and solutions for active safety, autonomous driving, occupant protection and brake control.

What you'll do?
We’re now looking for System Test Coordinator that will work close with the System Test Team to secure industrialization, in a fully automated in high volume production site.

You will lead the test team with focus on timing, progress, quality assurance and support in technical problem solving. You and senior test engineers will be involved throughout the industrialization process, with test methods and equipment specifications, programming, design, verification, commissioning, documentation and continuous optimization.

You will work in an international environment with exciting challenges in technology, product development and industrialization. Together with colleagues from the Production plant in Vårgårda and Design Center in Linköping, Sweden, you will work to ensure product productivity and efficiency.

What you'll bring
We believe that you’re a good communicative person who would like to take the next step and be our System Test Coordinator. We also presume that you thrive in an environment of constant learning and discovering new ways of working, where you can put your technical and coordinator skills to good use.

If you already have experience in testing and automation, software development related to hardware and basic understanding of production and process development, we believe it will be an advantage for you. As a person, you enjoy working independently, driving your own processes, but understand your role in the team and what you’re all trying to accomplish together.

Level (diploma) required:

- University degree in electronics, data or programming

Other required skills:

- Knowledge and great interest in C-programming
- Team Lead, Scrum Master, project management or Coordination experience
- Fluent in English, both in speech and writing
- Experience working in production and/or vision is merited
