What you´ll do
As a Research Project Leader at the Research & Innovation (R&I) department you will be responsible for several R&I projects with multiple external partners, advancing technology for future active safety products.
In practice you will be responsible for meeting the objectives, coordinate & progress activities, keeping budget/timing and reporting. You will also act as the Veoneer representative in external consortiums and collaborations like Vinnova or European funded R&I projects. It's also involves innovative work with concepts and assessing how new technology could fit in our business.
The projects are explorative, which requires advanced engineering and problem solving to break new ground. New technology is taken into the active safety domain and studied in experiments to see the benefits for road users. The teamwork will involve research specialists and research engineers, implementation, and verification in our Research & Concepts Lab at Vårgårda.

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have:
- Good skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
- Experience within Project Management and/or Coordination
- Good technical knowledge and interest in Research area
- Strong communication skills and customer focus
- Work experience within R&D is meritorious
Education
- University degree within Engineering or relevant work experience
