We are expanding our team at the Global Innovation Center in Vårgårda and are looking for an engineer with a focus on embedded devices.

About the role
As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing and defining the embedded software product architecture for safety-critical automotive applications. You will ensure the architecture meets both product quality requirements and the structure of the V-model development process.
In this role, you will work closely with system engineers, ECU teams, and software platform teams, while collaborating with international colleagues across a global organization. You will support the entire product lifecycle – from specification analysis to architecture design, through development, testing, and implementation. Your main responsibilities include:

• Design and document software architecture in line with product requirements and development methodology.
• Analyze, interpret, and review technical specifications.
• Support development and test teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure correct implementation of the architecture in software components.
• Communicate architectural choices and technical guidelines to internal teams and external suppliers.
• Review and challenge technical solutions proposed by software developers.
• Conduct reviews of development artefacts to ensure quality and compliance with architectural principles.

About you:
We are looking for a structured and solutions-oriented engineer with strong leadership and communication skills. Relevant Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in software architecture definition.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems product design.
• Proficiency in design standards such as SysML and UML.
• Experience in functional specification analysis and review.
• Familiarity with architecture tools (Enterprise Architect is a plus).
• Ability to design clear and effective architecture that supports the needs of both development and test teams.
• Experience from the automotive industry.
• Experience with Classic AUTOSAR.
• Background in safety-critical systems and ISO 26262.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written (Swedish is a plus).

About the role
As an Embedded Developer at Autoliv, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for building and maintaining software solutions for our next-generation safety products. As an Embedded Developer you will together with our customer´s team build the future of software products. You will have opportunity to work closely whit system team as well as ECU and software platform team.

You will work in an advanced engineering team responsible for building software functionality to quickly industrialize ideas.

The team will be a central part in the digital strategy in the global context. You will work in an international team together with teams from all over the world.

The software development is done in C, C++, Simulink, and automation using Python. Functionalities is developed together whit system experts and will be tested/tuned in vehicle and/or virtual environment. The models and source code are kept in git and we automate our testing and integration using Azure DevOps. Work is centered around advanced control system, and the project is responsible for the entire V-cycle.

OM TJÄNSTEN
Veoneer ligger i framkant inom utveckling och produktion av aktiva säkerhetssystem för bilar, system och möjliggör framtidens självkörande bilar. In Vårgårda we have our state-of-the-art Research and Electronics Manufacturing facility. Here, together with our engineers, we develop the next generation in modern manufacturing of radar and camera systems.





What you'll do?
As a Test Engineer, you’ll be part of a team with members in both Linköping and Vårgårda, with a common task to design, introduce and optimize fully automated test processes in our high-volume production flows. Your main objective will be the industrialization of our radar and camera production with focus on test processes.

The team will work with test methods and equipment specifications, programming, design, verification, commissioning, documentation and continuous optimization.

Overall assignments:
- Develop and optimize the production test process (HW and SW).

- Write test and verification specification used for sourcing of new test processes

- Work with improvement of existing test processes

- Contribute to improve our development processes

- Education of Engineers and Operators in production

- Together with the team have design ownership of the test processes

What you'll bring
We believe that you’re a person who are seeking new and exciting challenges within electronics, data or programming. You already have a solid base and knowledge within test development for Electronics and are highly skilled in C, C++ or C#.

We presume that you thrive in environments of constant learning and discovering new ways of working. Where you can put your problem-solving skills to good use. You enjoy working independently, driving your own processes, but understand your role in the team and what you’re all trying to accomplish together. Since you’re used to working in international environments you’re no stranger to the English language or communicating to people from different parts of the world. Although, also being able to communicate in Swedish is highly merited

We believe that with the aid of your skill of working under pressure and at the same time meticulous eye for detail can help us forward to reach the next step within automotive and electronic industrialization.

Level (diploma) required:

- Secondary school diploma in Mechanical/Automation/Electronic

- Post-secondary education in Mechanical/Automation/Electronic is highly merited

- Good technical experience about Mechanical/Automation/Electronic

- Experience working with Lean production

We are expanding our team within our Global Innovation Center in Vårgårda / Gothenburg and are looking for a machine learning engineer with a focus on embedded devices.
About the role
As an Embedded Machine Learning Engineer, you will work with industrialization of machine learning models in embedded environments. This includes being a part of the team developing the embedded systems, as well as integration and optimization of machine learning models, interaction with project stakeholders, and integration of machine learning models into the embedded target software environment.
You will work in a small team responsible for building a toolbox for this. The team will own the bootstrapping of projects, as well as building the frameworks that will be used to accelerate the time from a prototype to a product in the hands of a user.
The team will be a central part in the machine learning strategy in the global context that is Autoliv. You will work in an international team together with teams from all over the world.
You will work with languages such as C, C++, and Python using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and TFLite. All of this on embedded target ranging from smaller Linux systems down to embedded microcontrollers in environments such as Linux, bare-metal MCUs, and AUTOSAR stacks. The code is kept in git and we automate our testing and integration using Azure DevOps.
