Quality Manager

As Quality Manager, you will:

Leadership
Oversee and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring effective QA procedures and policies.
Act as a Quality servant leader, owning the Quality DMS, supporting IWS routines, and maintaining shopfloor presence.
Lead NTM Incoming Material Inspection and implement Insect Infestation Management guidelines.
Drive complaint investigations with Production, ensuring root cause analysis and preventive actions.
Monitor QMS performance, lead audits, and ensure ISO 9001 and HACCP compliance.
Promote a quality culture and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
Coach teams on IWS tools and principles aligned with site deployment


KPI Management
Analyse product and process data to define and implement corrective actions.
Support CAPA implementation and ensure PDCA effectiveness.
Liaise with Global functions for benchmarking and best practice adoption.
Apply IWS methodologies to eliminate quality losses


Annual Strategic Plan & Special Project
Manage Quality cost center resources to meet departmental needs.
Align ASP quality KPIs with Factory and Global requirements.
Coordinate trials with global teams, ensuring production readiness and timely reporting.
Lead Quality-related DMS activities within the IWS framework


New Product Development
Support NPD projects with internal and global teams.
Organise trials, track results, propose corrective actions, and coordinate equipment improvements.
Manage budgets, BAP updates, and ensure material availability and SAP accuracy.
Coordinate sampling and trial instructions with Production and QA


People Management
Lead and develop QA/QC teams for high performance and growth.
Identify training needs and coordinate development plans.
Recruit, motivate, and guide team development and succession planning.
Ensure staff training aligns with global/local standards and policies


Department Setup
Conduct appraisals, identify training needs, and ensure safe work practices.
Recruit new staff and define processes to meet Nordic Snus Factory standards


Other Responsibilities
Represent the company professionally and act as management representative.
Ensure compliance with JTI standards, policies, and improvement programs.
Maintain a safe work environment and ensure effective departmental communication


Requirements:

University Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or similar)
At least 5 years of experience working in food production and/or quality in food industry
Continuous improvement experience of all Quality Management System activities
IWS experience: coach and develop teams in IWS principles and tools connected with Quality
ASP experience
Quality servant leadership
Experience in Incoming Material Inspection, finished product quality inspections
Corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) and PDCA implementation
Trials coordination experienc
Experience with Quality Information/Data Systems and Digital Tools will be a plus
People leadership
Supporting Management with updating budgets
English written and spoken fluently (Swedish is an advantage)
Good knowledge of MS Office, QIMS and SAP

Production Manager
What this position is about - Purpose:
As Production Manager you will be responsible for leading and coordinating Production Department, Production machinery maintenance, Production projects and improvement activities to fulfil the business objectives with focus on "Service, Investment, Agility, People and Core-Competencies". Leadership:
Deliver all production KPIs per ASP targets. What You´ll Do

As the Plant Quality Manager, it will be your responsibility to drive and support the organization toward the vision of zero defects. Within the quality organization lies the responsibility to ensure the quality of products and services and assurance of compliance to ISO/IATF standards and Customer Requirements.

- Lead work around analysis and interpret data, manuals and other materials to determine improvements areas and corrective actions.

- Ensure ISO/IATF coordination activity, define clear procedures and responsibilities.

- Secure accurate documentation and procedures

- Lead Customer quality issues and escalations

- Develop the entire organizations quality performance

You’ll be a member of the Operational Management team and report directly to the General Manager, you will also report to Magna Electronics Quality Management.

What You´ll Do and your responsibilities
As a Production Group Manager, you will be responsible for developing, improving and managing our highly automated SMT production area.

You will plan and execute clear productivity goals and plan resources, adjust schedules as needed, and monitor production standards. When needed, you develop and implement new processes and ways of working out of a Lean perspective.

You will be responsible for a group of operators and team leaders that ensures that the daily production is running as planned and that the processes are followed, and lead a group of technicians and specialist on a daily basis. You have the responsibility for monitoring the results of your group, and ensuring performance.

You will report directly to our Production Manager, and work in close collaboration with the other Production Group Managers and with our Logistics, Quality, Maintenance and Industrial Engineering departments.

SMT (Surface Mount Technology) allows for the creation of customized electronic circuits by mounting individual components to a printed circuit board (PCB). In our SMT area we build PCBs to all our products and supply all internal final assembly customers.

Apart from the above mentioned, you are expected to:

What you'll do?
As one of two Group Managers for Industrial Engineering in Operations you will be responsible for ensuring continuous improvements, to machines and process flows in our operations. Your team to lead is skilled Manufacturing technicians that you will continue to develop towards best in class, thereby securing highest quality standards and efficient production processes. These engineers are part of our matrix organization, as members of cross-functional production management teams in Autonomous Manufacturing Groups (AMG).

Your main mission will be to:

- Ensure constant improvements for ergonomics and work environment
- Develop and challenge your team to be able to drive operational excellence (LEAN)
- Ensure continuous improvements and rationalizations to our equipment, processes and workflows
- Coordinate and implement process changes for changed components and/or products
- Set differentiated goals to improve and challenge our series production according to customers and Veoneer’s policies, standards and requirements

In addition, you’ll work closely with the Production, and Quality organizations, both from an operational and strategic perspective. You’ll be a member of cross-functional Autonomous Manufacturing Center (AMC), responsible for its engineering matters.

What you'll bring

When you are confronted with an issue, you are known to ask “why” to better understand the root cause and are used to use different analytic methods in problem-solving. You make rational decisions that are based on facts and keep a holistic view even in ambiguous situations.

With your competence and knowledge, you and your team will be able to take fast and clear decisions in line with organizational ambitions in a timely manner. This means that you likely have previous experience in one or more areas of Industrialization, Production, Processes and/or Change Management, preferably within Automotive.

Level (diploma) required:

- Secondary school diploma in Mechanical/Automation/Electronics
- Post-secondary education in Mechanical/Automation/Electronics is highly merited

Other required skills:

- Documented leader experience, including LEAN-management.
- Good technical understanding of Mechanical/Automation/Electronics
- Experience working with Lean production and Change Management
- Six Sigma experience is merited
- Customer and support experience are merited
- Good MS Office experience - Swedish and English, both written and verbal

Vad kommer du göra?
Vi söker nu lagledare till vår ytmonteringsproduktion (SMT). Som lagledare kommer du ansvara för att leda och coacha dina medarbetare inom skiftlaget. Arbetet innebär bl.a. att tillse att överenskomna arbetssätt följs, löpande uppföljning samt rapportera skiftlagets resultat. Du kommer aktivt arbeta med bemanningsfrågor och vara delaktig i introduktionen av nyanställda.

Som lagledare blir du en del av SMT-områdets ledning och du arbetar i nära samarbete med våra Gruppchefer och stödfunktioner för SMT för ett kontinuerligt förbättringsarbete inom området.

Vad du tar med dig!
Veoneer är i en spännande fas, där vår produktion växer allt mer och vi tror att du är en person som är intresserad av automatiserade tillverkningsprocesser. Du har redan en solid bas och kunskap inom elektroniktillverkning, kanske har du redan erfarenhet inom ytmontering eller haft en ledarroll, men söker nu nya utmaningar

Som person och ledare tror vi att du är övertygad om att resultat nås genom gott samarbete. Du har kunskap om eller vilja att förstå produktion, processer och verksamhetssystem för ditt produktionsområde. Erfarenhet av Veoneers produktionsmiljö eller liknande roll är meriterande. I ditt arbete har du många kontakter och därför är det viktigt att du kommunicerar väl på svenska i tal och skrift och har kunskap i engelska.

What you'll do?
As the Maintenance Group Manager, you’ll be responsible to develop, improve and oversee processes within the maintenance department, to plan and execute clear productivity (MTTR, MTBF) goals and resources and drive continuous improvements in our internal processes, safety and work environment. To your aid you’ll lead a group of 10-15 Maintenance Technicians that will work on continuous improvements at our production plant.

You will be a member of the Maintenance Management group and you’ll report directly to our Maintenance Manager. You will work in close collaboration with other departments such as Industrial Engineering, Quality and Industrialization teams

Additionally, you will:

- Analyze and improve competence within the maintenance group
- Resource planning
- Give input in Line design and be part of new process/machine implementation
- Strive to have efficient processes for reoccurring tasks such as spare part handling, preventive and reactive maintenance. Be responsible for KPI fulfillment like MTTR, MTBF, technical uptime and overall cost

What you'll do?
As the Production Manager it will be your responsibility to lead our production in Vårgårda, to ensure that our different production lines are running effectively. Safety and quality two of Veoneer’s the key essences, both when it comes to our production and our employees. It is therefore apparent that you as Production Manager set strategically goals to maintain and improve the quality and safety for our employees and production according to both legal and Veoneer’s policies, standards and requirement. To your aid you’ll have a group of highly skilled Group Managers each responsible for their own production segment that reports directly to you, as well as Group Managers within Quality, Maintenance and Industrial Engineering organizations.

You’ll be a member in the Operations Management group, and you’ll report directly to our Operations Manager. You’ll have budget responsibilities for our series production and deliveries as well as cost improvements. Additionally, you’ll also have a close collaboration with our Maintenance Manager and Industrial Engineer Manager for Operation, to work on constant improvements for our production.

What you'll bring

What you'll do?
As the Production Group Manager, you’ll be responsible to develop, improve and oversee one of the production areas in Vårgårda, to plan and execute clear productivity goals and resources, adjust schedules as needed and monitor production standards. This to secure that the production lines are running as smoothly and effectively as possible according to set goals and budget. To your aid you’ll lead a group of operators and team leaders that secures that the daily production is running as it should and that the processes are followed. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing new processes and ways of working out of a Lean perspective.

You’ll be a member of the Production Management group and you’ll report directly to our Production Manager. Additionally, you’ll belong to a team of Production Group Managers all responsible for their own production process and will have a close collaboration with our Logistics, Quality, Maintenance, and Industrial Engineering department.
